Macca’s supports a lot of sports clubs from grass roots to the top-tier teams. They however had a problem, everyone had their own ideas on how to design collateral and it created a visual mess. Globally Macca’s had recently updated their visual identity, so I was tasked with coming up with guides to help direct teams and partners look more cohesive across the board. Starting with the Macca’s Feel Good brand guide, I built a base from there.

The idea was to make it as simple as possible to follow but also fun. Like utilising the cropped Macca’s “M” to play on ball movement to players reacting to the “M” like Sam Kerr doing her famous backflip. How the identities of both Macca’s and teams/partners logos would work together using the Token device, and then into application examples on-ground signage, print, VIZ pull-throughs and other digital mediums.
